These archives contain the Amiga port of Aladdin Ghostscript 5.10.           
This compilation was done by Florian Zeiler (zeiler@irseesoft.com)
based on the Amiga port of Aladdin Ghostscript 5.10 by Joop van de Wege
(JoopvandeWege@mail.mococo.nl) which was based on the Amiga port of 
Ghostscript 3.53 by Olaf Barthel (olsen@sourcery.han.de).

Diese Version unterscheidet sich von Aladdin Ghostscript 5.10 aus dem Aminet in
den folgenden Punkten:

- ein Treiber für Turboprint 7 wurde hinzugefügt

- falls eine Umgebungsvariable namens "GS_TEMPDIR" exisitiert, bestimmt sie
  den Pfad für temporäre Dateien. Der Defaultwert ist "T:".

- Schriften sind in den Archiven nicht enthalten. Diese können aus dem Aminet
  geladen werden:
    /gfx/show/GS510-stdfonts.lha
  Die Schriften von GNU Ghostscript 4.03, die bei Turboprint 7 mitgeliefert 
  werden, können ebenfalls verwendet werden.

Installation:

- Sie benötigen das Archiv GS510.LHA und eines der folgenden, je nach 
  Prozessor / FPU Ihres Amigas:

    GS_020.LHA     für Amigas mit 68020, z.B. A1200
    GS_020FPU.LHA  für Amigas mit 68020 + FPU
    GS_030.LHA     für Amigas mit 68030, z.B. A4000/30 
    GS_030FPU.LHA  für Amigas mit 68030 + FPU, e.g. A3000
    GS_040.LHA     für Amigas mit 68040, z.B. A4000/40
    GS_040FPU.LHA  für Amigas mit 68040 + FPU
    GS_060FPU.LHA  für Amigas mit 68060

- Falls Sie bereits GNU Ghostscript mit dem Installer von Turboprint 7 
  installiert haben, löschen Sie bitte im Verzeichnis Ghostscript: alle 
  Dateien , die auf .ps enden:

    cd ghostscript:
    delete #?.ps

  Entpacken Sie das Archiv GS510.LHA und eines der GS_... ins Verzeichnis 
  Ghostscript.
  Weisen Sie LHA an, bestehende Dateien zu überschreiben (Taste "A").

- Falls Sie GNU Ghostscript 4.03 noch nicht installiert hatten, erzeugen 
  Sie ein Verzeichnis, z.B. "WORK:Ghostscript" und fügen Sie der 
  "S:User-Startup" eine Zeile hinzu, die ein Assign namens "Ghostscript:" 
  auf dieses Verzeichnis anlegt, z.B.
  
    ;BEGIN Ghostscript
    Assign Ghostscript: work:ghostscript
    ;END Ghostscript

  Entpacken Sie das Archiv GS510.LHA und eines der GS_... ins Verzeichnis 
  Ghostscript.

  Legen Sie ein Verzeichnis namens "fonts" innerhalb von "Ghostscript" an. 
  Entpacken Sie das Verzeichnis GS510-stdfonts aus dem Aminet oder einer 
  Aminet-CD (siehe oben).

- Jetzt können Sie Ihre Installation testen. Geben Sie z.B. ein:

   CD Ghostscript:
   GS examples/alphabet.ps

  Es sollte sich ein Fenster öffnen, in dem ein Alphabet angezeit wird. 

- Falls Sie einen Prozessorfehler 8000000B erhalten, haben Sie vermutlich 
  die falsche CPU/FPU-Version installiert.
